I have made 6 picture frames for friends and family that have had babies. They have all turned out cute and I wish I had pictures of them, but anyway I have not really tried anything else. This past month I finally let loose and have tried many new crafts/projects...
I went to a store called String Beads in Sugar House. It was a really cool little store that had every kind of bead or gem you could think of. The fun part is is you can make your jewelery there if you want. These are the first bracelets I have made, and I made them at the store. Since then tough I have bought my own bracelet string, beads and glue and have made some really cute small bracelets for my cousin who is expecting. I am excited to make more jewelry myself.
I took these photos of Cohen when he turned 2 years old. These two photos are the ones I loved the most, so I framed them and put them in my living room. They look amazing on the wall.
This is the first Holiday themed craft I have ever made. I loved the paper I chose for the cat, if you look close there are cats and skulls on it. My husband thinks the cats eyes look like an owl. I liked my final product until he mentioned that.
This Family craft is the first time I have ever used scrapbooking paper on wood instead of just paint. I think I did a good job.
When I was visiting in California last month I bought these sea shells at a really cute little shop. I planed on using them for a picture frame. So this is what I did.
Since this is the first year in many that we live on our own, I wanted to make our apartment festive for the holidays. I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a bunch of stuff. This is the first wreath I have made. I love the colors I chose, those ornaments are the same ones we are going to be putting on our Christmas tree.
I made this picture frame for Matt's friend that is getting married next week. I had some help with the letters, but everything else I did alone. I hope the bride will like it, more because I have not met her yet.
