The Fall...

The last two week our family has gone up into Emigration canyon and Mueller Park. We just love to see the leaves change color. Both times have been very fun and refreshing. Tonight when we went we saw some deer in the neighborhood next to the canyon. It was very cool to see, they really didn't seem too scared of people. I hope we can make it into a canyon at least one more time before Fall ends.

These are pictures near Mueller Park Dr.

Cohen's 3rd Birthday...

Well this is almost 3 months later but it took me time to get some pictures and it took me more time to find the time to blog. Anyway, Cohen's birthday was a lot of fun. We had a good turn out between friends and family. Cohen got so many presents his bedroom literally has no room for anymore, I don't even want to get him any toys for Christmas. We had sandwiches for lunch, delicious sides thanks to Grandma Marya and my friend Mikell. I made the Mickey mouse cookies. The kids hit a pinata after lunch. We then opened present then cake and play dough ice cream. After most people left we play kickball at the baseball diamond near by, which looked like a lot of fun! It was a very successful party and I appreciate everyone that was able to make it and support Cohen.

26 Weeks...

I have been so busy lately that I completely forgot to take my belly picture last week, at 25 weeks. So here is a picture of me at 26 weeks. I feel like I have a little basket ball under my shirt. She moves so much, Matt felt her moving like crazy for the first time last night, it was cool.

25..

I just had my 25th Birthday. Saturday the 15th my mom watched Cohen so Matt and I could celebrate my birthday. We went the the SLC farmers market. That place was so cool. We really enjoyed the food and the live music. Later we went to Red Lobster to enjoy all you can eat shrimp. That was so good. After lunch we went to a dollar matinee, Snow White and the Huntsman.  It was good, I don't know if I would watch it again though. Then we spent the evening at my parents house watching the U of U vs BYU football game. It was so awesome because the U kick BYU's butt! So Sunday my actual birthday, Matt got up and made us waffles with peaches, so good! We spent the evening at my parents house eating the most delicious dinner. We had a beef roast with mashed potatoes and gravy. Squash, corn, fruit, and Mexican Jello my cousin Nef made for me. I didn't get any pictures any these advents but it was a really enjoyable couple of days.

Thoughts about being 25. When I was younger I never thought I would be married, I thought I would of had a bachelors degree. Instead I have almost a 3 year old son and 25 weeks pregnant with a girl. I also never thought I would be married to someone who got me so well, and who was so successful and motivated. I could never of dreamed of my life the way it is, but I love it. I the sweet moments and the chaos. I could not be happier and can not wait for the future!

The car accident...

So almost a few weeks ago, Cohen and I were in a car accident. It was the craziest thing. We were driving on 11800 S. just a few streets away from my parents. Cohen, Lincoln, and I were driving home to pick up Matt. Cohen was a little upset about something so I reached back to rub his leg, and the next second I was in the back of another car. Just a few seconds before I didn't even see any cars near us.  It was so surreal.  I thought the 3 car pile up was my fault, but I guess the car I hit had slammed on its brakes and barely hit the car in front of them so when I hit them they hit the car in front of them even harder. This was such a crazy out of body experience, it all felt so slow motion. I finally came back to real life when Cohen started to cry, because his head hurt. His car-seat straps broke and he hit his head on the seat in front of him. In the end we went to the hospital and all 4 of us were okay (Me, baby girl, Cohen, and Lincoln). It was very scary. Our car was totaled. The cost of repairs exceeded the worth of the car. In hind site it was a blessing because Matt and I owed more on the car then it was worth and we would have had 3 more years of expensive payments. We since bought a new (used) car with cash, and love it!

The reason I am telling everyone who reads this, this whole story is because I use blogging as my journal. Anyway I am posting a few pictures, for memory.

Cohen and I probably 20 min after the accident.

This is a picture of my car and the red car I hit, it doen't show the car that the red car hit.

This was our car at the impound lot.

Cohen ended up with a pretty good black eye after this that lasted about a week. I don't know if anyone got a picture of it though.

Me at the hospital waiting to find out if our little girl was okay, which she was.

A few things (funny and sweet) Cohen said after the accident happened.

Cohen,"mom you are supposed to go around the car not through it."

My sister was driving us around since we didn't have a car and his cousin Broc asked, "Cohen how did you get that black eye?" Cohen, "my Uncle Donny put special oil on my head to make me feel all better."  So cute, because he remember something so special.

Cohen, "I love my new car seat, it has a cup holder."
